William “Will” Boyles
Bio
Lubbock attorney Will Boyles focuses his entire practice on the representation of plaintiffs in personal injury actions.
Prior to representing plaintiffs, Will spent years defending some of the nation’s largest insurance carriers on a variety of personal injury matters from simple car wrecks, commercial motor vehicle accidents, construction site deaths and injuries, premises liability injuries, and homeowners’ insurance claims.
During that time, he determined that he had a passion for helping those who were injured and not defending insurance companies who were more concerned with shareholders and stock prices. Using that knowledge of the inner workings of insurance companies, Will now uses that familiarity to better help his clients obtain the largest verdicts possible to compensate them for the negligence of others and to make our roads, workplaces, and shopping experiences safer.
Will has been active in the local and state legal communities and was previously the President of the Lubbock Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Lubbock Area Bar Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been active in the American Inn of Court, Texas Bar College, Litigation Section of the State Bar, and various insurance defense associations both nationally and state-wide.
Will received his J.D. from the Texas Tech School of Law in 2003 and is licensed to practice in Texas. Will was previously an Assistant District Attorney in the Lubbock Criminal District Attorney’s office, as well as an Assistant Public Defender for Capital Cases. Will has tried cases ranging from personal injury accidents, custody fights, to Death Penalty trials.
Will’s greatest pride is his family. Will is married to Marlise (nee Hernandez) Boyles. He has three sons (Will, Javier, and Cristian), two dogs, and two cats. Will is an active member of First United Methodist Church Lubbock where he teaches Sunday School for his own adult class as well teaching in the Children’s ministry.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Will served seven years on active duty in the United States Army as an infantryman. He was stationed throughout the United States as well as overseas. After being honorably discharged, Will attended undergraduate education at the University of Texas-Permian Basin in Odessa, his hometown where he graduated with a degree in History.
